Hi Guys! Today I am doing an app review on ‘Wild West Guns’ by Gameloft. This is a £2.99 ($4.99) game ‘that brings back all the fun of carnival and arcade shooters’. ‘You’ll need some extraordinary speed and precision to become the fastest gun in the West!’ All you have to do is hit the targets, that appear and disappear. In some levels, you may be asked to keep the tin can from hitting the ground, in others, you may be asked to kill all of the bandits on a train.
When you tap the icon that looks like this:
You will see a ‘Gameloft’ screen, then a loading screen and then a ‘Tap Screen to Start’ page. When you tap the screen, you have 4 options:

Shows you (in a very cool interface – that’s worthy of an app of its own) what Gameloft’s bestsellers are, What’s new from Gameloft, Gameloft’s catalog (American spelling!) and a way for you to Feedback to Gameloft.
Options
Gives you options to change the Sound, Crosshairs and Language.

If you have just pressed play, they you will see a list of different difficulties. At the moment, only ‘Normal’ and ‘Hard’ are unlocked, you have to unlock ‘Survivor’, ‘Reload’ and ‘Sniper’.
How do I unlock the other difficulties?
You have to complete the difficulty before it eg. Complete the ‘Reload’ difficulty, before you unlock the ‘Sniper’ difficulty
When you have chosen the difficulty that you would like, tap it. You will then see a screen like this:
The red numbers are Levels that you need to play, as you can see, the next level I need to play is Level 2, to unlock Level 2, you need to complete Level 1. To play the level, just tap it. Then tap the stages on the right – in Level 1′s case, it is ‘Moving Targets’, ‘Flying Sombreros’ and ‘Train Attack’. You willl have to complete all of these to unlock Level 2.
When you have tapped the Level that you would like to play on, you will see a ‘Tap Screen To Start’ page. Then you are straight into the game, you will see a little information bubble, telling you what you have to do. To skip this, just tap the screen.
How do I shoot?
It’s extremely simple! All you have to do is Tap the Screen – wherever you tap, is where the bullet goes.
What do I shoot?
You just have to shoot the targets however, you get money/points for shooting anything and everything!

Have you had any problems with this application?
None at all! Gameloft seem to make extremely stable apps, and Wild West Guns is no different!
This application is so addictive, people on this application’s page, have commented, saying that they got on the bus, started the app, and then got so engrossed in the game, that they nearly missed their stop! However, I feel that this game is a bit easy, but, it is extremely fun!
